Art by local artists at Parkside Yards

1 Mar - 31 Mar

Open Southall Parkside Yards

Event details

Throughout the year we shall be showcasing art by local artists in The Southall Coffee House at Parkside Yards. The featured artist this month is Diana Braybrook.

Diana is an experienced artist who prefers working in oils although she also uses mixed media. She trained initially at Camberwell College of Art in London before going to Reading University to study for her degree in History of Art & Architecture. She is currently the resident artist at Osterley Park and House in Isleworth where she uses the Garden Gallery in the stable block as her studio and occasional exhibition space. You are welcome to visit her on an Open Studio Day, or by prior arrangement.

You’ll see Diana’s love of colour and how she uses her holidays as a source of inspiration when you come and look at her artworks in the cafe. Visit Diana’s website and follow her on social media, if you want to see more of her work. She has a Facebook, Instagram and X account.

Diana is not only an artist, she is an excellent tutor and leads four week short courses in oil painting at OPEN’s venue in Dickens Yard, Ealing Broadway. We restrict the class size to nine so that you have plenty of individual time with Diana whilst still benefitting from peer support. Find out more information about the course by visiting the website.

We look forward to showing you the latest art by local artists hanging in Southall Coffee House, Parkside Yards. Contact a member of either Open Southall’s or the cafe’s staff if you would like to buy a painting.
